Alpine is located in Tennessee, just off HWY 52, between Jamestown and Livingston. 15 miles in either direction. Click HERE for directions to the Cabins at East Port. You can also contact us if you need further assistance. We are located on the East Fork and West Fork of the Obey River.

Your deposit is expected at the time you place your reservation. You can make your deposit online when completing your reservation, mail your check to The Cabins at East Port Marina, 1000 Cooper Lane, Alpine, TN 38543, or you can call in a VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or AMEX to 931-644-6323. Cancellations on reservations must be made 60 days prior to arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit subject to a 10% cancellation fee of the reservation amount or $25 cancellation fee, whichever is more. Vacation cancellations within 60 days of arrival date will not be refunded. We understand that issues do come up, but as a small business we cannot afford to have last minute cancellations. Any deposits used to reschedule for future reservations because of a cancellation can only be used for cabins of the same size and price.

All deposits are credited toward your reservation, and is our guarantee that you will be our guest. You will be asked to complete a Credit Card Authorization Form during the reservation process to ensures that you are careful and not damage the cabins or property.

We love dogs too, and of course your dog is welcome, but only in SELECT cabins. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG WITHOUT CONFIRMING DOGS ARE ALLOWED IN YOUR CABIN. We do require a pet fee of $75.00 which is nonrefundable. This is to cover additional cleaning costs not damages from your dog. We ask that if you bring your dog that it is crated when left alone in the cabin.  We also ask that you pick up after them and be respectful of the property.

No, we accommodate and list each cabin with every size bed, sleeper sofa, rollaway, etc. We charge a daily or weekly rate on cabins, and nothing extra for more guests. We want you to enjoy your vacation!

Depending on the season you can catch Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, Crappie, Catfish, Stripe Bass, Kentucky Bass, Bluegill, and Carp. You can purchase your fishing license at the marina, and they also sell bait. You can reach out to East Port Marina (931) 879-7511 to find out more about Dale Hollow Lakes Fishing. If you are a serious fisherman, or want to bring the kids down for some memories, come down in the spring or fall, as the Walleye spawn down the East Fork in the Spring, as well as the crappie and bass.

Yes, however, you can save time if you buy your license online before you come….. or buy it on your smartphone using the TWRA app. You can store it on your phone for safe keeping. Here is the website for purchase online: TWRA.

Beer is sold seven days a week at the marina, except when the marina is closed for the winter months. There is a new package store that sells it all in Byrdstown on Hwy 111.

As of this update (January 2021), our tax rate is 9.75%.

Check the direction page for stops along your way to pick up groceries. If you will be driving through Cookeville, TN there is a Sam’s Club and Publix grocery store. You can also stop in Celina, Byrdstown, or Livingston, depending on your route. These towns offer small grocery stores, and drug stores. Otherwise Jamestown offers a Wal-Mart Supercenter 15 miles east of East Port via HWY 52. The marina does offer ice, snacks, drinks, beer, and other small grocery items.

No, your cabin is serviced and cleaned prior to your arrival, and all of your sheets are provided. Your dish sponges, dish washer liquid, toilet paper, garbage bags and receptacles, are provided. You need to provide your swimming and bathing towels, as well as your personal toiletries. Some cabins offer washer and dryer, but you need to provide your own laundry soap and dryer sheets. We DO NOT provide any towels.

As the country starts to reopen , and allow travel, we are constantly reevaluating our check in procedures here at The Cabins of East Port Marina. We are so excited to see you , and want to make your vacation a great one this year! There is no doubt that a relaxing vacation is what everyone needs right now! We want, more than ever, to make your time here enjoyable and stress free. We want to reassure you that The Cabins at East Port Marina is following all CDC guidelines for ensuring that our properties are sanitized and ready for our guests, as your safety is our priority.

As part of our evolving safety plan, we are asking all guests to supply their own comforters, blankets, pillows and towels, for your stay with us. We will continue to supply sheets, as usual, unless you would like to bring those as well. If you are traveling with multiple families, please make sure that everyone in your party is aware of the changes. We understand that this may be an inconvenient and requires more packing and planning, but for the safety of you, our future guests and our employees, we feel this is a safer option. Also, in doing this, it allows our housekeeping department to spend that extra time double checking all cabins prior to your check in.

The staff at Cabins at East Port Marina will continue to monitor all government and state guidelines, and will reassess as changes and guidelines are updated. We have communicated frequently with our neighboring marina owners and most have placed similar precautions in place.

No, our cabins do not offer landline telephone service, Your cell phone is welcome, but signals may be interrupted in lower areas. There is a 911 phone at the marina for after hours. The marina also has and wireless internet.

All cabins, except for Old Timer, offer WIFI and high speed internet service. You will be able to log into WIFI and connect using your own streaming accounts through SMART TV’s. Watch whatever you watch like you’re at home.  If you want to bring your own Roku, Fire Stick, etc. feel free to do so.

The only thing floatin’ here is the restaurant, gas pumps and the boats. We offer cabins at the marina with lake views, and a short walk to the marina or lake. We have provided the views your cabin offers on our cabin page. We do offer premier log homes, with breathtaking views of Dale Hollow.

Yes, slips are available per night or per week and you can park your car and trailer at your cabin or trailer parking area. Please reach out to East Port Marina (931) 879-7511 for more details about slip rental.  If you are house-boating, you can park your car and trailer in the upper parking lot. There is no charge for parking.

No, East Port Marina is one of the last marinas to not charge for launching a boat.

East Port Marina can rent you a tube, skis, or a knee board for $20 a day! Ski vests are $1. East Port Marina only charges a small fee so we can replace our gear every year.  Fees and availability subject to change so call East Port Marina (931) 879-7511 to inquire.
